El Resurrection Fest acaban de confirmar, hoy viernes a las 9 de la mañana, las primeras bandas de lo que será su edición de 2018.

Kiss, Scorpions, Stone Sour, Thy Art Is Murder, Alestorm, Overkill, At The Gates, Anti-Flag y Ministry son ya algunas de las bandas que se han confirmado.

A las 10:00 h se publicarán más bandas y ampliaremos la noticia.

Las entradas estarán a la venta al precio actual hasta el próximo martes a las 23:59, cuando subirán. Las entradas diarias se pondrán también a la venta el lunes a las 10:00.

«FIRST BANDS FOR RESURRECTION FEST ESTRELLA GALICIA 2018

La espera ha llegado por fin a su fin y podemos anunciaros parte de las bandas que actuarán este año en el Resurrection Fest 2018. Nuestra intención inicial era publicar todo el cartel, pero muchas bandas no están listas para anunciar, así que publicamos ahora este adelanto y más adelante se cerrará toda la programación con otro anuncio que equilibrará el cartel.

En primer lugar, nos llena de orgullo poder anunciar que por primera vez en la historia una de las bandas más famosas del mundo del rock estará en Galicia: ¡la banda más caliente del mundo, KISS! Los americanos vendrán desde EE.UU. explícitamente para tocar en España en una de sus pocas fechas a nivel mundial que darán en 2018 y tendremos en Viveiro el concierto más especial hasta la fecha entre todas sus visitas a España, con su producción completa y larga duración. Próximamente anunciaremos una sorpresa muy especial sobre esta actuación, pero por ahora no podemos deciros nada más. Será todo un orgullo tener a Gene Simmons, “The Demon”, Paul Stanley, y el resto de la banda encabezando el día grande del festival, el sábado 14 de julio.

A su vez, otra de las bandas más influyentes de la historia del rock también estarán en Viveiro y encabezarán uno de los días del festival, el viernes 13 de julio. Desde Alemania, Scorpions actuarán en Viveiro por primera vez, y no podemos tener más ganas de escuchar esos temas tan míticos como “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, “Still Loving You” o “Winds of Change”, entre muchos otros.

Por petición popular, ¡por fin tendremos a Corey Taylor en Viveiro! Ya que su otra banda Slipknot está de descanso, tendremos la única fecha en España de Stone Sour y será uno de los platos fuertes del cartel. Presentarán su último disco “Hydrograd” y tocarán todos sus clásicos. ¿Estáis listos?

En lo referente al metal extremo, tendremos viejos amigos y muchas bandas nuevas que nunca han estado en el festival, salientando a Ministry, At The Gates, Overkill, Alestorm, Thy Art Is Murder, Exodus, Suffocation, Leprous o Igorrr, entre muchas otras.

En el escenario de punk y hardcore, ¡no nos olvidamos nunca de nuestras raíces! Anti-Flag vuelven de nuevo a Viveiro más grandes que nunca, y también tendremos a Zebrahead, Riot Propaganda (el proyecto de rap metal de Los Chikos del Maíz y Habeas Corpus), Cancer Bats, Stick To Your Guns, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Evergreen Terrace o Rise of The Northstar, entre muchos otros. The Qemists, como propuesta alternativa, nos traerán su mezcla de drum’n’bass y música electrónica para montar una fiesta por todo lo alto.

En nuestro Desert Stage aún quedan muchas cosas jugosas por anunciar, pero ya os podemos comentar que habrá muchas bandas de calidad pedidas por vosotros para este escenario como Saint Vitus, God Is An Astronaut, Stoned Jesus, Harakiri For The Sky, Monolord, Rolo Tomassi o Mars Red Sky.

Y cómo no, en lo nacional, tendremos una gran selección de nombres que se ampliará más adelante pero que ya cuenta con bandas como los antedichos Riot Propaganda, The Wizards, Somas Cure, Imperial Jade, Teksuo, Against The Waves, Trono de Sangre, Boneflower, Ósserp o Malämmar, entre otros. KISS AND SCORPIONS WILL HEADLINE RESURRECTION FEST ESTRELLA GALICIA 2018

The wait has come to an end and we can finally announce some of the bands that will play at Resurrection Fest 2018. Our goal was to announce the whole lineup, but many bands are not ready to be announced, so we are releasing this first bunch of bands and later we’ll have the last announcement that will bring balance to the billing.

Firstly, we’re hugely proud to announce that for the very first time ever one of the biggest and most popular rock bands in the world will be in Galicia: the hottest band in the world, KISS! They are coming from USA just to play in Spain in one of the very few performances in 2018, and we’ll have in Viveiro the most special show to date among all their visits, with full production and full length. Soon we’ll announce a surprise about this performance, but we can’t tell you more right now. It will be an honor to have Gene Simmons, “The Demon”, Paul Stanley and the rest of the band headlining our biggest day, Saturday 14th July.

We’ll also have in Viveiro one of the most influential bands in rock history and will headline Friday 13th July. From Germany, Scorpions will play in Viveiro for the first time, and we can’t wait to hear so many anthems like “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, “Still Loving You” or “Winds of Change”, among many others.

By popular request, Corey Taylor will finally be at Resurrection Fest! Since his other band Slipknot is having a break, we’ll have the only show in Spain of Stone Sour, one of the main bands in oru lineup. They will play new songs from their last album “Hydrograd” and also all the classics. Are you ready?

About extreme metal, we’ll have some good old friends and many new faces that never played here, highlighting Ministry, At The Gates, Overkill, Alestorm, Thy Art Is Murder, Exodus, Suffocation, Leprous or Igorrr, among many others.

Time for the punk and hardcore stage, we never forget our roots! Anti-Flag are returning to Viveiro, bigger than ever, and we’ll also have Zebrahead, Riot Propaganda, Cancer Bats, Stick To Your Guns, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Evergreen Terrace or Rise of The Northstar, among many others. The Qemists, as alternative to a typical show in our festival, will bring their mix of drum’n’bass and electronic music to drop a big party.

Our Desert Stage still has room for more good things to be announced, but we can tell you that some quality bands will play here, like Saint Vitus, God Is An Astronaut, Stoned Jesus, Harakiri For The Sky, Monolord, Rolo Tomassi or Mars Red Sky.

In the Spanish section, we’ll have a great selection of the most modern acts and high quality bands, so we recommend you to see the whole list, we’re sure you’ll discover many gems.

The tickets will be at the current price until Tuesday at 23:59, when they’ll cost more. The 1-day tickets will also be on sale next Monday at 10.00.
